Covid-19 has more than ever demonstrated the need to support Australian manufacturing and Australian made products.

A strong local manufacturing sector ensures local workers have good permanent jobs which will help stimulate our local economy and small businesses. 

An Albanese Labor Government will rebuild the nation’s manufacturing industry with a comprehensive plan to create jobs, boost vital skills, and bring industry expertise back onshore.

We will establish a $15 billion dollar fund to invest in local industry and business so Australian jobs are put first.
