Ten years ago, a commitment was made to upgrade the Brighton foreshore but was removed after the 2011 floods and has never been reinstated. Residents have been calling out for this upgrade for years. This unique part of Brisbane deserves to be improved for the benefit of all local residents and visitors alike.  Community consultation will be at the forefront of any improvements and could include: improved access to beach areas, better pathways, sheltered picnic tables, barbecues and amenities.
